I didn't burn when the sun came out on August 18 and turn to ash as I turned 34. There was the possiblity, but I'm still here and still kicking.

34 is starting out to be a year of new things. So far this list should include...

1. Watched Yodelling Contest
2. Saw Salad on a Stick
3. Eat Emu
4. Rev Theory & Shinedown Concert
5. Iowa State Fair
6. Placed a bet on a horse race
7. Won on a bet placed on a horse race-I'm up $2.20
8. Played a $.25 lottery ticket--and won

So far so good.
